Though I was familiar with Ayurveda before attending SoulFull Veda’s event, I hadn’t actually felt connected enough to create Pitta-balancing treats for myself in a while.

Rachel and Angelica’s knowledge and passion for Ayurveda truly inspired me to tune back into my unique body/dosha, be present with it, and nurture it with love, mindfulness, and proper nutrition, suited for MY body!

Since the event, I’ve been adding in more things to cool/balance my Pitta fire like basil and cucumbers, and indulging in more superfoods to reduce stress like Ashwagandha and Cacao.

I was also inspired to leave behind the pungent, fire-stimulators like garlic, onion, hot sauce, etc. and I’ve been feeling WAY more chill all the way around! It’s truly been a blessing, as I live a busy life filled with appointments, calls, to-dos.

I’m trying to keep my cool and I’ve found it by implementing more Ayurvedic practices in my kitchen and lifestyle.
